Roger was organizing some of his photos yesterday and came up with this gem documenting the very first time I gave Jack a haircut. I had absolutely no idea the cord was in his mouth until Roger developed the picture. Such a good mother.

I'm not quite sure why but the thought; "That is so Jack!" just popped into my head.
Those are the moments we have to let go. Oops! I screwed up with my parenting, but my kid lived through it, so I guess we're okay. Like that.
At least that's what I tell myself when I remember having my daughter jog on the sidelines when she got injured in a game. "Jog it off." Turns out her foot was broken. Oh, well. She lived through it.
