Jack and I are reading a book with a character named Alice (who is actually an alligator). The whole time we were reading about her tonight, this song my mom used to sing to us was running through my head.
Alice, where are you going?
Upstairs to take a bath.
Alice, with legs like toothpicks
and a neck like a gir-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-rafe.
Alice, into the bathtub,
Pull out the plug and then . . .
Oh my goodness, oh my soul,
There goes Alice down the hole!
Glub. Glub. Glub.
